Brother of actor Chiranjeevi, and one of the stars of Telugu cinema, Pawan Kalyan founded the Jana Sena party last year. He campaigned for TDP and BJp combine during Lok Sabha elections.
He is currently awaiting the release of his Telugu film Gopala Gopala, a remake of Hindi hit OMG: Oh My God.
Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, a remake of Dabangg is the highest grossing film of all time in Tollywood.
Well known for his charitable work, Kalyan donated Rs.20 lakh for relief and rehabilitation of Uttarakhand flood victims in 2013, and Rs.50 lakhs to the govt for relief operations in the aftermath of cyclone Hudhud in Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
